I’m sharing this video because I just did the same thing but by accident. I dumped some kitchen scraps onto my compost pile which contained celery roots. After a few weeks they starting regrowing. I then moved them to a garden bed. Two out of three survived. I was really excited about this, and told my wife to save every celery scraps now. Enjoy!

Try it in an aquaponics system! We have used the same stalk for over 1 year, cutting it back, then allowing to re-root and grow again.
I just did this with my green onions. Worked so good I thought what the heck, and stuck my leek in the planter pot too. And sure enough it’s growing!
May have to try that thanks.
