New Additions to the Homestead

Success starts now.

We have a few new additions to the homestead. Nine to be precise. We were lucky enough to be gifted 9 rabbits, 3 adult dies, 1 buck, and 5 weened babies. For free along with a 20 foot hutch, water bottles, feeders, and feed.

My girls are very excited. That hutch is heavy. Moving it was not the easiest thing I have ever done, but job complete. It has nesting boxes on each side, and sections in the middle where the weened babies have their own places.

Well sometimes things just work in your favor. I am glad to have the opportunity to try my hand at rabbits again.
