I joined even if I am but a lowly Californian…
Urban areas are where permaculture needed most.
So true! You don’t need a lot of land to support a small family. My community garden is attempting to radiate out into our neighborhood so every small plot can be maximized in this vein. A slow but steady return to the old ways of sustainability! I love being part of that. We’ll change the world!
Check out Ron Finley. He’s out of LA and doing great things.
I will thanks!
Wow, impressive! This is precisely what Global Arc is trying to do in my hood, and others. I’m gonna share this with them and maybe we can get a screening here. Thanks for sharing!
Oh wow! I can’t wait to take this course. Thank you so much for sharing. We currently live in the suburbs and I’m doing what I can here, but we’re about to buy a little over an acre, and I can’t wait to see what methods I can implement there to create a little sustainable homestead.
There is also a Facebook group started up for this class. Some of the most best places is the suburbs. It’s that edge. Got some land but close to population centers. Thanks for being here.
