This really a test vlog with my new early Christmas present. I love my family even more for getting me a GoPro. A quick post about my future garden beds. Of course it’s going to be a poly-culture with a few apple trees.

Homeschooling: Simple Machines
Homeschooling gives us the freedom to teach and learn what we want. Our family get to take field trips to learn new things. Katie loves Marine Biology, and she got a chance to train dolphins. Here we went to a local kids museum to learn about simple machines.
Happy Thanksgiving

Be the best you.
Happy Thanksgiving
Permaculture Zone 0
I currently live in the house that I grew up in. Before I move on to such things like water collecting and solar, I need to upgrade the energy efficiency. I will soon start the project of replacing siding for a more rustic farm house look. While increasing the insulation in the walls and ceiling.
Upcycled Bench Project.
A new project where I upcycle a head and foot boards into a bench. I have the mock up. Another example of use what you have.
Ginger Propagation.
Another example of use what you have.We purchased some organic ginger, and by the time we got down to the last piece it had started to sprout. Use what you have. I take you through the process of ginger propagation.
Do the Work.
The election is over, and if your person won or not. In the broad scheme of things it don’t matter much. The work is never done. Trees must be planted. Animals must be feed. Silkies are my new favorite chicken breeds. They are too cute and even though small they are egg machines.
Life Goes On.
No matter who wins the election my animals must still be fed. I still love my family more than anything. I don’t believe any elected official is worth my time, so I will take care of my own life. Drink a cider, and enjoy the ride. I suggest you so the same. Do good with your life. #election2016
Corn Sprouts Day Three.
Corn is sprouting, but not as good as I would like. My idea was sprouting corn because I have grown it many times before. Black oil sunflower did much better, and I have grown sunflowers many time before also. Also there is no “GMO” with sunflower.

Cut the cord.
When homesteading you find ways to cut costs. Here’s a way to cut cable tv costs. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and the Kodi app are some ways to cut down on entertainment costs.
