I use my new lawn mower that has a bagger. I love the mower with the bagger because how easy it is to collect the grass clippings. Grass clippings are great for rabbit and goat food. Chickens also will eat the grass clippings. You can also spread out the clippings to save them for hay to store for winter. AND the clippings that don’t go to feed make great compost.

Today I show my girls how to start broccoli sprouts. Soak for 24 hrs. Rinse twice a day for a week then harvest.

Winter Times the Right Time.
Time to get ready for your spring gardening is now. I’m planning my spring garden now. Over the next few weeks I will be build soil in a few new raised beds. I also have several apple trees to put in.
